Forensic Accounting, Valuation, and Litigation Support Intern

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of Fieldwork related to business valuations engagements
  • Forensic examination of accounting books and records
  • Analyzing and reconstructing fraudulent transactions, complex transactions, financial statements, etc.
  • Performing electronic reviews of evidence
  • Conducting industry and client research and analysis
  • Documenting current client business processes and internal control environments
  • Assisting with interviews relevant to a particular litigation matter
  • Assisting with the preparation of detailed analyses, expert and other reports, affidavits, and other client deliverables (demonstrative tables, exhibits and charts
  • Compiling organized work papers
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals to new and existing clients
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive, productive, and professional relationships with colleagues and clients

 Knowledge & Skills:

  • BS or BA in Accounting (2026 grad)
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills to articulate information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Eagerness and willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and understand your role on the team
  • Natural aptitude for problem solving
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Driven to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Ability to have flexibility to meet client deadlines
  • Ability to travel locally to clients and offices
