Forensic Accounting, Valuation, and Litigation Support Intern
Duties & Responsibilities:
- All aspects of Fieldwork related to business valuations engagements
- Forensic examination of accounting books and records
- Analyzing and reconstructing fraudulent transactions, complex transactions, financial statements, etc.
- Performing electronic reviews of evidence
- Conducting industry and client research and analysis
- Documenting current client business processes and internal control environments
- Assisting with interviews relevant to a particular litigation matter
- Assisting with the preparation of detailed analyses, expert and other reports, affidavits, and other client deliverables (demonstrative tables, exhibits and charts
- Compiling organized work papers
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals to new and existing clients
- Cultivating and maintaining positive, productive, and professional relationships with colleagues and clients
Knowledge & Skills:
- BS or BA in Accounting (2026 grad)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills to articulate information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Eagerness and willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and understand your role on the team
- Natural aptitude for problem solving
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Driven to exceed client expectations
- Ability to balance multiple priorities
- Desire to learn and develop
- Ability to have flexibility to meet client deadlines
- Ability to travel locally to clients and offices
