Accounting Internship
As an Accounting Intern, you will work under the supervision of Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants and Partners to deliver exceptional client services. An internship with Westberg Eischens, PLLP will give you the opportunity to participate in audit engagements as well as the preparation of individual and business income tax returns. Summary of Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of diversified accounting and tax assignments under the supervision of Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants, and Partners.
Overview of Essential Functions
· Prepare payroll tax, sales or other business tax and personal income tax returns.
· Assist in proofing financial statements, tax returns and other documents.
· General bookkeeping and payroll.
· Collect appropriate data for tax preparation.
· Preparation of spreadsheets as deemed necessary.
· Perform other accounting, auditing and tax duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by Senior Accountants, Managers and Partners.
Other Functions
· Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Accountants or Partners.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
· Knowledge of accounting principles and personal income tax
· Flexible, team player
· Detail oriented
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
