FX Content & Editorial Internship, Spring 2025
About the Role & Program
The FX Content and Editorial Team is tasked with the creation and execution of AV marketing materials for our program launches and branding projects.
We are looking for an intern who is hardworking and curious about storytelling and creative marketing. This is your chance to build your creative and marketing skills in an encouraging and collaborative environment! The intern will be embedded with the team and report to a Senior Writer/Producer.
What You Will Do
As the FX Content & Editorial Intern, your main role will be to work collaboratively to assist with the producing creative marketing assets as well as...
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, sharing your insights and creative ideas for FX’s marketing campaigns
- Support administrative duties related to asset management, documentation, and other administrative tasks directly tied to the production of marketing assets and logistical team maintenance
- Watch and log episodes to gain an understanding of what can support a creative concept
- Assist in writing scripts for promos
- Collaborate with members of the Content & Editorial team to ensure alignment and communication
- Conduct research on industry trends and new technologies to give fresh ideas that will keep our content relevant and engaging
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills working with colleagues across departments at all levels
- Hardworking, proactive, eager to learn and willing to tackle new challenges
- Curious with attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects at once
- Prior experience in media/entertainment is a plus but not a deal-breaker
- Familiarity with storytelling, strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Education
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Majoring in film, marketing, or creative writing, or have had related coursework
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
- Fully available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship, most hours being in person, preferably 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday.
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA. area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
