Description
BESL is seeking a qualified Senior Software System Integration and Test engineer with duties in Colorado Springs, CO. The SI&T leads a team that responsible for planning, testing and validation of software activity. Performs system assessment and authorization planning, testing and validation activities in coordination with government customers. The SI&T supports to evolve the current ground architecture to leverage newer technologies, facilitate the addition of new systems, and incorporate these into a common C2 architecture that includes infrastructure, platform, and core services.
Essential Functions:
- Leading a team through testing of software to confirm applications.
- Lead demonstration efforts associated with capabilities on a quarterly basis.
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area with some impact on department results.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
- Researches, evaluates, tests, recommends, communicates, and implements new software applications.

Requirements
Position requires the following:
- Requires experience working with Test Readiness Review (TRR) and test reports
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, test procedures, maintain test records, document and report discovered problems and utilizing software testing and utilization tools
- Understand and adhere to drawing requirements for production builds
- Experience updating Vender Item Description data sheets
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area with some impact on department results.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Must be able to achieve and maintain a DOD Security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile and Jira
- RF and SATCOM experience
- Experience in RF measurements and familiar with test equipment not limited to: Spec-A, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, O-Scope, Signal Generator
Education/Certifications:
- Graduate degree with 0-2 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience
- Associates degree with 6 years’ experience
- Sec+ certification
