About these Opportunities: 7-Eleven Inc. has several opportunities for Summer Internships. Each internship opportunity will occur during the summer months, (10-12 weeks), focused on a specific functional area, and will provide the candidate with a depth experience within the area, culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders. Each intern will work closely with a coach who will meet regularly to discuss project progress, provide direction and ongoing feedback. In addition, each intern will attend a lunch series which will provide a cross-functional view into the organization and give the interns exposure to senior leadership. The interns will also have the experience of touring a store and learning about our distribution systems.
Responsibilities:
- Project-based work to support our 7Collection, social media, or influencer programs.
- Support the Culture & Social Media team to identify opportunity based on consumer need and build a plan to address identified need.
- Engage with internal teams to understand project requirements and collaborate on various initiatives.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork to achieve project milestones.
- Bring a passion for retail e-commerce, with a focus on fashion and merchandising, and a keen interest in entrepreneurship across various categories.
- Demonstrate versatility, creativity, a team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape.
- Implement and integrate 7-Eleven's loyalty program for 7Collection customers.
- Oversee loyalty points tracking, CRM communication, and in-app messaging for points redemption on select merchandise.
- Analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer experience journeys.
- Utilizing insights to inform product enhancements, driving continuous improvements, and fostering innovation within the loyalty program.
- Actively participating in the ideation and development of innovative marketing strategies.
- Contributing creative ideas to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of the loyalty program.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Marketing, E-Commerce or related field
- Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
- Ability to remain nimble and flexible
- Curiosity, creativity and an eagerness to learn
- Solid understanding of business etiquette
- Optimistic, positive and ready-for-anything attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
