You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

Unstructured Data Analytics and Semantic Modeling:

Apply advanced analytics techniques to engineering and management data.

Contribute to the development of semantic models for enhanced understanding and decision-making.

Multivariate Modeling in Biosciences:

Work with experimental and synthetic data in biosciences.

Collaborate on projects involving multivariate modeling for improved analysis and interpretation.

Analytics and Modeling of Social Systems:

Participate in projects focused on understanding and modeling social systems.

Analyze social data to derive meaningful insights and contribute to the development of models.

Analytics in Higher Education:

Assist in the analysis and interpretation of data related to web activity and educational environment usage.

Contribute to the enhancement of educational analytics for improved learning outcomes.

Active Learning Methodologies in STEM Education:

Collaborate on the design and development of active learning methodologies in STEM higher education.

Contribute to the creation of interactive resources for effective teaching in sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Optimization and Design of Experiments Methodologies:

Support optimization projects and design experiments to improve processes and outcomes.

Engage in the application of methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Technological, Consulting, and RD Services:

Participate in the design of in-company training courses on quantitative methods and specialized software (Excel, R, Gretl, etc.).

Contribute to the management and design of experiments for research and development purposes.

Assist in designing training courses for teachers aligned with the group's expertise.

Analytic Interpretation and Support:

Collaborate on analytic interpretation of data related to various projects.

Provide support in the analysis and interpretation of questionnaire data.

Simulation and Interactive Resource Development:

Support the design and development of simulations and interactive resources for teaching in STEM areas and management.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (data science, engineering, social sciences, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in relevant tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Excel).

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Passion for applying data analytics and modeling in real-world scenarios.

About the Organization

The goal of this group is the application of data analytics and modeling techniques to different areas of expertise: biosciences, engineering and social sciences and the teaching of these techniques in higher education. The group specializes in: -Unstructured data analytics and semantic modeling applied to engineering and management -Multivariate modeling in biosciences with experimental and synthetic data -Analytics and modeling of social systems -Analytics in higher education -Active learning methodologies in STEM higher education -Optimization and design of experiments methodologies

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in hospitality management, tourism, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders and travel vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with travel booking platforms and software tools.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing travel schedules and last-minute adjustments.
• Passion for sports, particularly football, and a genuine interest in contributing to social development initiatives.

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 
 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
