Crime Analyst
Support local law enforcement and make the community a better place to live, work, and play! We are currently accepting applications for a Crime Analyst position in our Police Department. This position analyzes, determines, prepares, and disseminates information related to actual and anticipated crime and disorder in the community; analyzes internal data to increase department efficiency; makes informed recommendations to front line personnel; and conducts statistical studies.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, data analytics, or a related field
- Possess or obtain (within 30 days of hire) and maintain a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience in data analysis and Crystal Reports
- Experience with the use of statistical computer programs, GIS software, computer databases, reporting software, and Microsoft Office
