Entry-Level Application Developer

Investors Heritage is seeking candidates for an entry-level application developer position to work with our Development team. The Application Developer position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical skills and start a career with a growing, progressive company with a strong portfolio of business applications.

This position is responsible for analysis, design, development, and maintenance of small to large scale complex projects supporting our current and future information systems, dynamic websites, and business processes and strategies. The selected individual will work with multiple technology stacks to code elegant and innovative solutions to drive business value in a fast-paced environment. An ideal candidate will be flexible, embrace change, and be able to work effectively on a team and independently.

Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate has experience and passion for conceptualizing, designing, developing and/or delivering efficient tools and applications in support of operations or other structured business processes
• The ideal candidate has experience and passion for conceptualizing, designing, developing and/or delivering efficient tools and applications in support of operations or other structured business processes
• Effective communication skills and technical savvy to plan, coordinate and complete a variety of often complex assignments both independently and as a member of a team
• B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent

Highly qualified candidates will also have experience with or knowledge of:

• C#
• Object-oriented analysis and design
• SQL
• Relational-database design
• Front-end development – JavaScript/css/jQuery/Vue.js
