As a Program Management Analyst, the selectee will provide technical assistance and coordination services on a variety of programs within the Nebraska Division. These include data management and reportingconducting reviewsidentifying and leading process improvements; and assisting with administrative and financial actions (as requested). The incumbent will also lead the development of the Nebraska Division's annual Unit Performance Plan and Risk Assessments.

As a Program Management Analyst, you will:

  • Assist senior program managers and other staff with program operations to effectively implement Federal Highway Administration’s goals and priorities.
  • Provide recommendations for efficiency improvements within internal administrative operations and policy determinations.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing and proposed policies and procedures.
  • Resolve problems encountered with existing and new program operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively communicate and work well in team settings to engage with others to foster innovative ideas and approaches circumstances with a desire to improve program initiatives.
