Job Title: HR Recruiter

 

Location: Bridgeport

Reports To: HR Manager

 

Job Summary:

The HR Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This role involves collaborating with department heads, managing the full-cycle recruitment process, and developing innovative strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline.

 

Key Responsibilities:

   •      Full-Cycle Recruitment:

        • Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions.

        • Coordinate and conduct recruitment activities, including job postings, resume reviews, and interviews.

        • Manage and maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS).

   •      Collaboration and Communication:

        • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective job descriptions.

        • Provide regular updates and recommendations to hiring teams on recruitment progress.

   •      Talent Sourcing:

        • Leverage various recruitment methods such as job boards, social media platforms, career fairs, and employee referrals.

        • Build and maintain relationships with schools, universities, and other talent pipelines.

   •      Candidate Experience:

        • Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.

        • Communicate offer details and facilitate onboarding for new hires.

   •      Compliance and Reporting:

        • Ensure all hiring practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

        • Generate recruitment reports and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Qualifications:

   •      Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

   •     Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best hiring practices.

   •      Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.

   •      Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

   •      Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

 

Preferred Skills:

   •      Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms.

   •      Knowledge of employer branding strategies.
