Marketing Role - Social Media Content Creator

At Catch Social, we are seeking a highly motivated Social Media Content Creator to support the marketing efforts for AppTrapps, our innovative privacy app. AppTrapps is designed to empower users by protecting their privacy in fun and creative ways.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our presence on social media, with a specific focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels. You’ll help craft content that resonates with privacy-conscious individuals, relationship-savvy users, and those who love a bit of playful drama while driving engagement and brand awareness. A key aspect of this role will involve showing your face and personality on camera, so being comfortable in front of the camera is essential.

Key Skills and Areas of Focus

  • Content Creation: Develop edgy, humorous, and relatable content that showcases the benefits and fun aspects of AppTrapps.
  • On-Camera Presence: Be prepared to show your face and engage directly with the audience in your content.
  • Posting Strategy: Ensure consistent and timely distribution of content to engage the right audience effectively.
  • Competitor Research: Stay updated on emerging trends in privacy, relationships, and social media to keep our strategies innovative and fresh.
  • Content Optimization: Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and implement strategies for maximizing content performance.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Account Setup:

  • Create dedicated TikTok and Instagram accounts for AppTrapps

Content Development & Distribution:

  • Post engaging, original content based on our strategy and your insights into what performs best.
  • Publish 14-15 pieces of content every two weeks across TikTok and Instagram.
  • Be front and center in the content, using your face and personality to create relatable, engaging, and trend-savvy posts.

Audience Engagement:

  • Write humorous and relatable captions tailored to privacy-conscious and relationship-savvy users.
  • Incorporate trending hashtags to boost visibility and engagement.

Ongoing Communication:

  • Stay in sync with the team via GroupMe to share updates and coordinate efforts.

Time Commitment

  • Approximately 15-20 minutes per day to complete daily tasks.

Compensation

  • $100 bi-weekly plus $0.50 for every 1,000 views generated from your posts.
