HR Talent/Learning Intern

THE ROLE

As an HR Talent/Learning Intern for the summer of 2025, you will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to various facets of Human Resources Talent areas such as DEI, Talent Management, Engagement and Learning & Development.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Possible projects include:

  • Support the Talent & Culture team in implementing, managing, and continuously improving talent programs.
  • Draft plans, communications and materials to promote talent programs using Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Research, conduct focus groups with current production leaders & stakeholders, and propose recommendations for next steps in building out a manufacturing leadership program.
  • Partner with Talent Management Lead to re-imagine goal setting process for 2026.
  • Develop a plan to expand enterprise adoption of HRIS Talent Modules – Workday Career Hub, Gigs, Workday Learning, etc., as well as learning & development initiatives including promoting online learning content, DiSC assessments, & 360 degree assessments.
  • Assess leadership program effectiveness by analyzing past participant promotions, internal movement, retention, etc. as well as proposing other methods for measuring impact (e.g. surveying direct reports and leaders of program participants pre- and post- participation).
  • Assist on any DEI initiatives that happen over the summer, such as PRIDE in June, supporting EBRG events, drafting communications or analyzing data.
  • Support live leadership development programs and learning offerings by helping with event logistics, registration, technical support, etc.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Current enrollment in a Master’s program with a focus on Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI location for the duration of the summer 2025 internship
