This summer, we’re offering a unique opportunity for an aspiring hospitality professional to join our Rooms Division team and gain hands-on experience in front office operations.

Position Overview:
As a Rooms Division Summer Intern, you will work directly with the Front Office Manager to ensure seamless guest experiences. This role provides exposure to front desk operations, guest relations, and room coordination, offering a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a luxury resort.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations of the front desk.
• Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and responding to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Learn and utilize property management systems such as OPERA for reservations and guest services.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure room readiness and address guest requests promptly.
• Gain insight into guest satisfaction initiatives and help maintain Gurney’s high service standards.
• Contribute to the resolution of guest concerns to ensure an exceptional stay.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related program or a recent graduate passionate about luxury guest services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mentality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from industry professionals.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
