Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa is a premier luxury destination offering world-class dining and hospitality experiences. This summer, we’re excited to provide an aspiring hospitality professional with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our Food & Beverage (F&B) operations.

Position Overview:
As a Food & Beverage Summer Intern, you will work directly under the supervision of the Food & Beverage leadership team. This role offers immersive experience in the operations of our restaurants, lounges, and event spaces, providing a comprehensive understanding of luxury dining and event service.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in daily F&B operations, including restaurant, bar, and event service.
• Learn and execute Gurney’s service standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support in scheduling, inventory management, and other operational tasks.
• Collaborate with the culinary and F&B teams to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
• Gain exposure to event planning and execution, including setup, service, and breakdown.
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction and F&B efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related program, or a recent graduate passionate about food & beverage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• A proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in luxury dining and an eagerness to learn from seasoned professionals.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
