Safety Intern - Summer 2025 - Traveling
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking an Safety Intern to join our dynamic and energetic team. This position will assist the Safety Department in maintaining the company safety programs for each assigned company division through the training and education of all personnel with regard to all OSHA and ANSI standards as they relate to the construction industry.
What you’ll do:
Duties include:
- Conducting daily jobsite inspections.
- Reporting and record keeping for job audits.
- Assisting in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
- Gathering materials to combat OSHA violations.
- Reviewing safety policies and procedures as requirements change.
Who you are:
We are pursuing candidates with the following qualifications:
- Working towards a degree in Occupational Safety.
- Enrolled in a college or university.
- Solution oriented, problem solver with a hands-on and team-oriented attitude.
- Organized and have good communication skills.
- Ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals throughout the organization.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
