Ignite Missionary


The Jesuit Spiritual Center is seeking post graduate young adults interested in serving in youth ministry. For 10-months Ignite Missionaries work as a member of the Jesuit Spiritual Center Youth Ministry Team and live in intentional faith community with their fellow missionaries. Ignite Missionaries have the unique opportunity to accompany young people in their relationship with God through retreat ministry steeped in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola.  

Ignite Missionaries are provided with:
1. Ongoing one-on-one mentoring in ministry and the spiritual life
2. A spiritual director to meet with monthly
3. A personal monthly stipend

4. Spiritual Formation in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola
5. Training in Retreat/Youth Ministry:
               Planning, Preparing, and Facilitating Youth Retreats 
               Leading Small and Large Group Activities
               Facilitating Prayer Ministry
               Engaging Retreatants through Dynamic Witness Talks
               Leading Praise and Worship Music Ministry 

The Jesuit Spiritual Center also provides missionaries with housing in the renovated historic Rock House, monthly communal food stipend, and health insurance (optional).
