Color Quality Assurance Internship 2025

The Quality Assurance Intern will assist in activities that support our customers with technical support and inquiries including but not limited to our products, service and company capabilities. They will have the opportunity to interface with all levels of the company, including Product Development, QA, Production, Supply Chain, and Sales/Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and increase your skill base for graduate school or future employment.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Aids in providing support to customers in a timely manner.
- Coordinates and collaborates with other department include customer service, sales, R&D and operation to obtain information to customers.
- Engages in product quality assurance and food safety systems related work.
- Manages controlled documents system.
- Prepares weekly reporting metrics that monitor the completion of customer technical inquiries and drive improvement.
- Performs other work related duties as assigned by the Supervisor including, but not limited to, sampling, cleaning, record clerk duties and special projects.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the school of Life Sciences or Agricultural Sciences; OR have obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from the school of Life Sciences or Agricultural Sciences (Business or social sciences degrees are not eligible for this internship, such as ag business, psychology, etc).
- Required to work overtime when necessary.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
HOW YOU'LL STAND OUT:
- Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Enology, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Processing, or Food Science.
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals.
- Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing solid conclusions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple assignments.

COMPENSATION
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $23.00 - $26.00 / hour
