Starting pay for this position:  $37.22-$51.07/hour 

 

This position is full-time, 37.5 hours a week.

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Education, Division of Education Analytics and Resources & Bureau of Education Opportunities has a full-time vacancy for an Administrator of Innovative Pathways.

 

SUMMARY: To administer programs, policies, and procedures related to non-public schools, home education, innovation schools, Learn Everywhere, and other innovative educational pathways within the Bureau of Educational Opportunities.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education: Master's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with major study in education, educational administration, education leadership, engineering, information science, information systems, business, accounting, auditing, business administration, economics, data management, statistics, computer science, management, planning, public policy, or related field.

 

Experience: Seven years of experience in education, educational administration, business, accounting, auditing, information science, information systems, program monitoring, program administration, program management, project management, engineering, business administration, economics, data management, statistics, computer science, management, planning, public policy, or related field, four years of which must have been in a management level position involving administrative or supervisory duties concerned with program administration, program planning and evaluation, business management or related management experience.

License/Certification: Must possess a valid driver’s license and/or access to transportation for use in statewide travel.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develops, authorizes and monitors statewide policies, goals and objectives for non-public schools, home education, innovation schools, Learn Everywhere, and other innovative educational pathways.
  • Identifies legislative requirements, develops proposed legislation, and testifies on legislative bills for the purpose of explaining and defending agency objectives and goals related to innovative educational pathways.
  • Provides support to the Non-Public Schools Advisory Committee and the Home Education Advisory Council as a Departmental member and performs additional committee and advisory-body work as a designee of the Commissioner when assigned.
  • Evaluates program outcomes and objectives and proposes efficiency improvements and enhanced data collection methods for improving the evaluation of innovative educational pathways.
  • Plans, develops and evaluates professional development and technical assistance programs and opportunities for innovative educational pathways.
  • Formulates and implements program budgets related to innovative educational pathways.
  • Analyzes and approves applications for grant funds to support research, evaluation or planning of innovative educational pathways.
