About Phantom Security Group

Phantom Security Group (PhantomSec) is a startup focused on providing advanced offensive cyber capabilities development. We create tools for, and used by, commercial and public sector offensive security professionals (red teams, network penetration testers, adversary simulators). We do this ethically by verifying the identity and affiliation of each customer, allowing us to keep these advanced tools out of the wrong hands. Our primary product is EvadeX, an evasive payload generator for operators to easily customize and generate payloads to be used against mature and hardened environments.

 

Job Summary

As an Offensive Cybersecurity Development Intern, you will be able to choose from a multitude of projects or suggest your own. These projects will focus on creating new features or whole new products under EvadeX.

 

Some examples include:

  • Linux evasive loader generator
  • MacOS evasive loader generator
  • Novel shellcode execution methods

 

Requirements

  • Current US citizen
  • No visa sponsorship required
  • 18+ years old

 

Recommended Skills & Experience

  • Experience with system internals and development on one or more operating system/kernel (Linux, MacOS, Windows)
  • Experience programming with C, C++, Zig, React, Javascript, and/or Python.
  • Solid programming/debugging skills
  • Knowledge of network and Web related protocols/technologies (e.g., UNIX/LINUX, TCP/IP, Cookies)
  • Experience bypassing endpoint protection or anti-cheat software
  • Innovative Thinking

 

Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

 

  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Offensive Security Exploitation Expert (OSEE)
  • OffSec Experienced Penetration Tester (OSEP)
  • Certified Red Team Operator (CRTO)
  • Certified Red Team Leader (CRTL)
  • Practical Network Penetration Tester (PNPT)
