8th Grade Mathematics Teacher

Lionheart Classical has been offering Tuition-Free, Classical Education since 2022. This is a salaried, exempt position with a 10-month work schedule and base standard hours of at least 15 minutes before school starts and at least 15 minutes after school ends, plus monthly faculty meeting (which will run 1 to 1.5 hours). Salary will be set annually on a performance-based schedule. Teachers will report to the Director through the principal.

This is an instructional position which carries the responsibility for the educational leadership of students in a group or class in a classical charter school. The educational leader will understand, demonstrate the importance of, and implement the school’s curriculum. Student instruction and assessment will maximize educational achievement for all students. Teachers will collaboratively work to ensure a learning climate for all students that is safe, secure, and respectful. Teachers should implement multiple teaching strategies to reinforce content and skills for students through creative lessons. The teacher will implement Singapore’s Dimensions program for mathematics and be under the supervision of the Mathematics Program director. Teacher will be open to being observed, receiving coaching, and implementing a prescribed curriculum.
