Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy is looking for a creative and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten teacher. This is an academic-based program. However, hands-on activities and play are also important components of the program. The applicant must be willing to spend time planning and executing lessons.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree
• New York State Certification/or Proof of Pathway to NYS Certification
• Work collaboratively with faculty and staff
• Plan and develop lessons aligned to the New York State Next Generation Standards
• Ability to create opportunities for students that demonstrate evidence of knowledge of topics.
• Ability to integrate technology in the classroom.
• Have strong classroom management skills.
• Professional skills a must
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development
• Be a part of a close, supportive faith community.
• Be a practicing Catholic
