What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney's North Berwick Aero Systems (NBAS) is looking for a CMM Programmer to provide Inspection Solutions for the Mod Center.
Support the CMM Programming technical team in ensuring product and process compliance by providing CMM Programming solutions per our quality systems and requirements
Complete CMM Programming related requests
Foster and maintain a cooperative relationship with Module Center departments including other Quality and Manufacturing personnel
Drive product and process improvements
Drive a culture of continuous improvement through use of CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence ) tools (Standard Work, DIVE {Define, Invesitigate, Verify, Ensure}, mistake proofing, etc.)
Participate in the implementation of new inspection technologies that achieve process, reliability and productivity improvements
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years of CMM programming experience OR an Associate's degree and minimum 4 years of CMM programming experience
In absence of a degree, 6 or more years of CMM programming experience
Experience using Microsoft Office
Secret Clearance OR be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in a Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering envirnoment with a minimum of 1 year in the Aerospace industry
Product knowledge of aerospace parts
Knowledge of CMM Programming software with a primary focus on Zeiss Calypso strongly preferred
Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems, AS9100 and experience using CORE tools
Knowledge and experience in data analysis and problem solving using Six Sigma, Red X and process control Tools
