Ready to jump into the fast lane of IT project management? Hibbett | City Gear is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy intern to join our IT team. As an IT Project Coordinator Intern, you’ll be supporting IT project management activities and learning the ropes from experienced project managers. What You’ll Be Doing 

As an IT Project Coordinator Intern, you’ll be working behind the scenes, helping manage key projects and ensuring everything stays on track. Your role will include: 

  • Project Playmaker: Assist in creating, maintaining, and managing project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring all tasks are aligned and delivered on time. 
  • Track and Stack: Monitor project resources, costs, and timelines, making sure we’re staying within budget and hitting key milestones. 
  • Risk Management: Keep an eye on potential delays by tracking project risks and issues, ensuring smooth sailing throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Documentation MVP: Organize project documentation, take meeting minutes, and manage the project repository using Microsoft Teams. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

We’re looking for an intern who’s ready to hit the ground running, stay organized, and learn from the best in the business. If you’ve got: 

  • School Game: Junior or senior pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, IT, Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar field (3.0 GPA preferred). 
  • Organizational Skills: A keen eye for detail and a love for keeping things on track with tools like Microsoft Project, Teams, and Excel. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think on your feet when challenges arise. 
  • Team Player Vibes: A collaborative spirit and a willingness to contribute ideas and help keep projects moving forward.
