About the Role
Canon Financial Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our 2025 Canon Insights Internship Program.
Getting real world experience prior to graduation is invaluable in determining career goals and aspirations. Students who attain actual work experience through the internship program have an advantage, as they begin their future job search. As an Intern at Canon Financial Services, you will be exposed to business, marketing and strategy initiatives. You will develop business skills and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's business and goals. The Canon Insights Internship Program will give you access to various business units within Canon, as well as our key leaders.
- The Canon Insights Internship Program is a comprehensive summer program that will run for 10 weeks from June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025.
- It is a full time (8:30AM-5PM) schedule, based on a 37.50-hour workweek, and is a paid internship.
- Interns are required to come to the office 2 out of 5 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
Your Impact
This program is designed to provide undergraduate students with an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects, training, meetings, presentations and activities.
The Human Resources intern will have the opportunity to be exposed to key HR policies, laws, and best practices. You will be responsible for the following:
- Assist with new hire onboarding.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Create organizational communications.
- Coordinate employee engagement events.
- Collaborating with Corporate Communications.
- Creating social media posts and content.
- Support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
We prefer students that are entering their Junior or Senior year as of the Summer 2025, however, all are welcome to apply. To succeed in the Insights Program, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We also require candidates to be enrolled in a related major in the department of interest and have some former work or internship experience.
We are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $18.00 hourly.
