HR Intern

EMH&T is has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven business student currently enrolled and working towards a degree in Human Resources. The HR intern will work under the supervision of the HR Director to provide administrative support to the HR department. Responsibilities may include filing HR documents, initiating background checks for employment candidates, assistance with creation of job descriptions, reviewing and providing suitable recommendations to improve HR policies.

We are looking for a student interested in working during the summer of 2022 (May – August) for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Candidate should be currently working towards a BS degree in human resource management or related field. Proven experience working in an office environment. 

Other skills to be successful in this position include:

·         Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

·         The ability to work as part of a team.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

·         Effective communication skills.

·         Detail-oriented.
