Accounting Intern - Broomfield, CO - 2025
ICAT is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions and contribute to our financial operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong analytical skills, and is committed to maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.
We will count on you to:
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including check processing and payment tracking.
- Help with bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Participate in audits and compliance activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives.
- Perform data entry and assist with the maintenance of accounting software.
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision-making.
What makes you stand out?
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous internship or relevant coursework in accounting is preferred but not required.
What you need to have
- Current Juniors with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - May/June 2026
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date
- Major’s: Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics or related discipline
- Applicants must have legal work authorization in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid Schedule: at least 3 days in office per week)
- The applicable hourly rate for this role is $25/hr.
