At Ellucian, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team within our Professional Services department. This internship will focus on service implementations of projects with a goal of developing a sustainable and repeatable delivery model for them.
Where you will make an impact
- Participating in multiple projects simultaneously and being able to adapt
- Engaging in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and problem-solving techniques
- Manage deliverables to meet project milestones.
- Participate in project meetings and distribute meeting notes and actions.
- Identify and communicate project risks, issues and actions.
- Analyzing client’s business requirements, evaluating their impact on these projects.
- Support the user acceptance testing in project go live situations.
- Support project management activities such as project plans and resource scheduling.
- Assist in creating documentation for enablement.
- Provide management with an articulate summary of project status.
What you will bring
- Pursuing education in Computer Science, Information Management or Business Administration or related field.
- The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- A conscientious, highly motivated self-starter, who is detailed-oriented and committed to make a difference in Higher Education
- A strategic thinker who possesses effective time management skills with a focus on long-term success.
- Experience with collaboration technology such as video conferencing, instant messaging, and other online collaboration tools is preferred.
- Exposure to the following technologies Node JS, React JS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI, waterfall or Agile.
- Analytical/Problem Solving with demonstratable abilities to use critical thinking to solve new problems and challenges as they arise.
- Must be a team player, motivated to learn, and strongly desire to take on a new challenge.
