LOCATION: New York office
OBJECTIVE:
This role is designed for a high-performing student interested in a career in software sales.
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION:
This is your time to shine! Salesforce is now looking to offer three top candidates an opportunity to enter a 12-week immersion program within our Financial Services Sales organization. This program will teach you how the Sales operates within a large software sales organization. Develop your technology, sales, and consulting skills while building your career with Salesforce!

We work with the largest banks, insurance carriers/brokers, and wealth/asset management institutions to help them deepen their customer relationships, streamline processes, and foster growth with Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the core of all we deliver.
This role requires to be in the office 4 days a week.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet and interview individuals from Sales, and supporting departments to understand how the organization is structured and how it works together
- Execute assigned training activities
- Create and present customized software demonstrations (demos) that could be used for customer presentations
- Support day-to-day operational needs of the team
- Learn the sales forecasting process
- Display a strong understanding of Salesforce Values, business acumen, and professionalism
- Present a final project to leadership
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Sophomore/rising Junior and current Junior/rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in Business / Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent.
- Strong academic background and performance
- Preferred prior working experience (can include part-time or over school breaks)
- Strong communication, networking, and presenting skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision whilst producing tangible results
- Adaptable to change and enjoys learning in a fast-paced environment
- Superior attention to detail
- Strategic thinker with a bias toward action
- Team player with a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver excellence
- Able to work with collaboration tools: Slack, Google Suite, Quip, Salesforce technologies knowledge a plus
- Long-term interest in a Software Distribution (Sales/Technical Sales) role
- Passion for technology - learning new domains and specialized areas. You don’t have to be a Salesforce expert, but you should be willing to learn about our product, our sales process, and the tools/methodologies Sales need to excel.
- Interest in the Financial Services space a plus.
