SAP52: ECOM Consulting Inc. has multiple openings for the position for Software Engineer-SAP  with Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), or any related field with five years experience or suitable qualifications. Duties: Manage solutions related to PP, WM, and MM areas for customers; Perform fit/gap analysis and provide solutions to meet business requirements; Handle SAP configuration at variant configuration, basic functions, pricing, WM activities, third-party integration, and EDI processes; Develop functional designs and test strategy documents for offshore developers during testing; Work on several business processes: UI/UX, intercompany sales, buyouts, and order-to-cash processes; Prepare functional specifications for the development of custom transactions, custom reports based on user requirements, and UI/UX-related changes; Works directly with the customer to troubleshoot and solve critical problems within the automation system; Clearly documents and communicates problems encountered, troubleshooting steps taken, corrective actions, root cause, and next steps; Presents information and interfaces with customers and leadership; Develops and executes functional software test plans to validate project requirements; Generate mapping documents for sap EDI+ transactions (both inbound and outbound); Identify the root cause and resolution of any incidents reported by the monitoring systems and from the business team; Serve as primary contact for problem assessment, resolution, and documentation generation for EDI; Created solution overview documents, solution design documents, and UAT-test documents and handled cycle zero cut-over activities. Location: 2828 W. Parker Rd. Plano TX 75075. Job may require some travel in the US with expenses paid by employer, 40 hrs. per week. Relocation available.
