This is an 10-week long summer internship that runs from June 9th - August 15th. It is in Chicago, IL and the selected candidate will work a 40 hour / week hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. 

As an Industrial Market Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting Korn Ferry’s Industrial market team in delivering strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to improve how we go-to-market in support of our clients. You will gain hands-on experience in delivering high impact projects that shape the future of businesses industrial business by helping to optimize how we effectively support knowledge and insight management across Korn Ferry’s Industrial Market practice.

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct industry research and analyze market trends for key GIM sectors.
  • Understand Korn Ferry LOB’s and define the intersection of those services in our clients.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Develop DRAFT Knowledge management approach and process for BD optimization.
  • Conduct reviews with key Industrial stakeholder to obtain alignment and buy-in.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Interest in organizational consulting, leadership development, and workforce transformation.

EDUCATION

  • Students who are currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college or university
  • 2 GPA or above and graduating the Spring of 2026

Estimated hourly rate  

20 USD
