Graduate Environmental Scientist

With guidance from a professional engineer and our global practice network, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce spatial and non-spatial data while ensuring technical accuracy and logical consistency in data processing and outputs.
  • Research permitting requirements in the federal  state and local arena with regard to NEPA analysis reporting , EIS, EA and CE development and analysis, development of ESCPs, SWPPPS, SPCCs and various other report like documents supporting various D/B projects across water, transport, coastal and infrastructure projects.
  • Produce high-quality products by employing physical science principles, industry standards, digital and custom solutions.
  • Identify and solve technical problems under supervision.
  • Conduct field data collection using GPS and mobile technologies data transfer and analysis for incorporation into design and permitting documents.
  • Daily activities include:
    • Utility and municipal data entry and corrections
    • Conducting GIS analysis
    • Generating GIS deliverables
    • Supporting customer GIS needs
    • Conduct field data collection
    • Support asset management activities

To be considered for this 2025 position, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrable competence with: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Collector, Survey 123, ArcGIS Pro, Microsoft Suite, GPS technologies
  • Experience or education related to: ArcGIS Enterprise, AutoCAD, Microstation and basic programming/scripting using Python, Javascript and HTML 5 are beneficial.
  • Must be very well organized, detail oriented, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
