Multimedia Intern (Summer)
Nature Of Work
As a Multimedia Intern with the Public Information Office, you will have the opportunity to develop a video library and create content that can be shared on the Town’s website and social media channels. The Public Information Office’s objective is to assist students interested in pursuing careers in the communications or multimedia industry by taking what they have learned in the classroom and applying it in a real-world, professional setting.
Work Schedule
Mid-May to July (approximately 8 to 10 weeks). Flexible work schedule, 20-25 hours per week. This may include working outside normal business hours (after 5pm) and on weekends to capture photos and videos at Town events.
Pay
$18 hourly for undergraduate students ; $20 hourly for graduate students
Required Qualifications
- Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited program and currently attending at least part-time with a 3.0 GPA or greater.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Proof of U.S. work eligibility.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Drone operator license.
