Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to deliver business solutions.
Define and model business processes using tools like BPMN, Visio, or Lucidchart.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, stakeholder meetings, and sprint planning sessions.
Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure user experience aligns with business goals.
Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) by ensuring proper documentation and testing strategies.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in training end-users.
Track project progress and provide reports on key metrics and deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, finance, healthcare, or a similar industry.
Strong understanding of business process modeling, workflow automation, and system integrations.
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Excel.
Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA) is an added advantage.
Experience in working with CRM, ERP, or cloud-based business applications.
Understanding of regulatory compliance in respective industries (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
