Interior Design Paid Student Internship - Spring OR Summer (not both) Semester 2025. **YOU MUST SPECIFY WHICH SEMESTER YOU ARE APPLYING FOR UPFRONT.** Interior Design majors only. No graduating seniors the following semester. This would be in-person. Spring- full or part-time, Summer semester full-time. Use of own car would be required for errands. Marcelle Guilbeau Interior Design is a visionary, Nashville-based interior design firm. We guide our residential, commercial, retail, healthcare and hospitality clients in discovering their Soul Style. Through collaboration, we own every aspect of the design process, from ideation to installation and implementation. We work with our network of visionary creatives, entrepreneurs, developers, executive relocators and other neighbors to help each of our clients create their soulful space.
We are looking for an innovative Intern to join our team.
The Role
The Intern plays a critical role in providing tactical administrative support to the team and their design projects. The intern provides insight into client-facing deliverables, including presentations and design decisions. Working closely with every member of the design team, the Intern manages logistics and internal and external documentation to assist in project execution and firm growth.

You are an individual who is passionate about design. You are ready to learn about the interior design industry through on the job training with industry experts. You have an eye for detail and a mind for logistics and organization. You have experience in a customer facing role and connect the dots between customer satisfaction and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide general assistance to Lead Designer and complete position-related errands
● Assist Design team in design element selections (finishes, fabrics, furniture, fixtures, etc…)
● Complete field measurements and draw plans and elevations and 3d views
● Contribute to the creation of client presentations, including renderings
● Input project data into Ivy and Publisher
● Maintain resource library
● Assist with social media
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
● Must be enrolled in an Accredited Interior Design program, and not a recent graduate
● Related coursework or practical experience in an interior design environment
● Knowledge of Revit and Photoshop
