Position Overview:
We are seeking an AI Developer Intern with a strong foundation in machine learning, optimization, and mathematical modeling. The intern will support the development of AI algorithms, contribute to data-driven projects, and help improve our platform’s computational models. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world, high-impact healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement AI algorithms and mathematical models for predictive modeling, optimization problems, and data analysis.
• Develop machine learning models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulations within our platform.
• Implement and test optimization algorithms for precision medicine applications.
• Assist in analyzing and processing multiomics and clinical data to develop robust AI solutions.
• Conduct literature reviews to stay up to date with state-of-the-art methods in AI and computational biology.
• Work with the team to document code and contribute to best practices for AI development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles, including supervised and unsupervised learning, optimization techniques, and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in Python and popular machine learning libraries 
• Familiarity with mathematical models and algorithms, especially in the context of optimization and predictive modeling.
• Understanding of basic concepts in bioinformatics or computational biology is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with computational biology methods
• Experience in scientific computing 
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Educational Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Experience with relevant internships, research projects, or coursework is a plus.
