The internship will be Hybrid with the opportunity to work in-person at our co-working space in Newlab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Intern Job Responsibilities
Floe is looking for an intern with a passion for climate and a strong interest in an interdisciplinary technical experience that touches manufacturing, IoT, web app development, data management, and customer success. The intern’s responsibilities may vary slightly depending on the skills and interests of the intern but will largely cover: 
Develop workflow automations and testing frameworks for our IoT system backend
Analyze and assess current product performance and identify areas for improvements
Provide new perspectives for improvements and features for our new FloeVue app
Help implement enterprise and manufacturing resource planning systems to streamline operations and manufacturing processes
Collaborate on strategies for customer success and internal processes
Develop and maintain product literature including installation and maintenance materials 

Intern Qualifications/Skills
Required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations 
Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions, learn, and provide new perspectives

Given the interdisciplinary nature of the position, the intern is not expected to have 100% of the skills listed below, but they will have the opportunity to develop and expand their skillsets. We preferably are looking for an intern who has:

Strong programming skills with Javascript, Python, and SQL is a major plus.
Experience creating vector graphics art using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape is a major plus. 
Experience with computer-aided design software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Onshape is a major plus.
Familiarity with Airtable or similar database management tools is also a plus.
