Job Summary
Selected student(s) will gain utility knowledge in the electric transmission area. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain/update DESC transmission system model database
- Prepare documentation for generator interconnection reports
- Update transmission system maps and cases as necessary
- Assist other engineers in the group to perform various power flow studies
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and powers system modeling and Microsoft Office products
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
Education Requirements
- Must be in process of obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Must have a graduation date of spring or fall 2026 OR fall 2025.
