
Human Resources Intern
Beyond Behavior Consulting is currently looking for a Human Resources Intern. The incumbent will provide quality Human Resource compliance and administrative support to the HR Team, clients, and other teammates within the company. The intern will be responsible for maintaining client satisfaction by delivering assistance and administrative support to The HR Generalist and Benefits Coordinator on various projects. Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and maintain HR compliance knowledge by researching a learning HR laws and Regulations, along with new developments within the field.
Assist with gathering of state clearances and other onboarding documents.
Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents as needed.
Organize pre-employment materials.
Properly handle any employee requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation.
Work proactively with other team members.
Openly share new ideas with team members.
Consistently communication with team members to avoid any surprises.
Qualifications/requirements
Problem solving skills to help accomplish the duties of the position.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Ability to learn and acquire new skills along with sharing those skills and abilities with team members.
Working knowledge of U.S. Labor Laws
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) Software (Not required but a plus!)
Proficient in Microsoft suite applications.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Detail orientated.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management/related field or are currently studying towards said degree.
Must be able to obtain required background documentation (FBI Fingerprint check, PA Criminal & Child Abuse Background checks).
Physical requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
