The Marketing Assistant will support our Head of Marketing to ideate and execute on a wide variety of marketing initiatives to help our brand build awareness. You'll support the CEO with other tasks as needed.
In particular, you'll work on:
Support Head of Marketing to…
- Help to research and identify creative, organic channels to promote WOKEN ie organizations that can serve as partners or communities or groups (Facebook Groups, Discord groups, etc)
- Support social media efforts by identifying trending topics and crafting strong draft content
- Support email marketing by analyzing workflows and improving them
- Support sms marketing by analyzing workflows and improving them
- Do research with other D2C startups as to other organic channels that we should pursue
- Support an ad hoc list of other creative growth hacks and ideas from backlog to experiment with
- Compile monthly metrics and present at an end of month marketing metrics meeting
Support CEO in…
- Identifying potential organizations that could serve as potential B2B customers, create and run email flows on Apollo
- Identifying potential organizations that could serve as potential affiliate partners, create and run email flows on Apollo
Skills required:
- Have supported D2C startups with social media or general marketing efforts
- Willingness to research and learn new channels
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Comfortable with Slack, Zoom, Google Drive Suite, Trello
- Comfortable with Mailchimp and Apollo
- Comfortable with various social media platforms - Sendible or other scheduling tool ; YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook
- Experience with sms marketing or other proven marketing channels would be a plus
