# PURPOSE DEVELOPMENT INTERN (All Sports)
**100% Remote | 100% Flexible Schedule | Academic Credit, Volunteer, or Potential Stipend**

## POSITION OVERVIEW
VoiceUp is seeking passionate Purpose Development Interns for Athletics (all sports) to support our mission of connecting individuals to their deeper purpose. As an intern, you will work directly with our Purpose Mentors to help student-athletes and other clients discover how their unique talents and identities connect to entrepreneurial leadership, family legacy, and community impact. This internship represents an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in purpose-driven coaching, athlete development, and social entrepreneurship while contributing to transformative work that creates generational impact.

## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
### Purpose Discovery Support
- Assist Purpose Mentors with preparation for client sessions
- Help analyze purpose assessment results and identify patterns
- Contribute to development of personalized purpose pathways
- Research resources aligned with clients' purpose profiles
- Support documentation of client progress and milestones
- Participate in team discussions about purpose methodology

### Program Development
- Assist in creating content for purpose discovery workshops
- Help compile and organize purpose development resources
- Contribute to improvement of assessment tools and processes
- Support data collection and analysis for program evaluation
- Assist with development of client success stories
- Collaborate on special projects to enhance program offerings

### Client Experience Enhancement
- Provide administrative support for client onboarding
- Help maintain communication touchpoints with clients
- Assist in gathering and organizing client feedback
- Support creation of purpose-aligned resource recommendations
- Help track client engagement and participation
- Contribute to development of community-building initiatives

### Community Impact Projects
- Research potential community partners aligned with client purposes
- Assist in designing service-learning opportunities
- Help document community impact initiatives
- Support development of impact measurement frameworks
- Contribute to creation of purpose-driven community projects
- Assist in connecting clients to community engagement opportunities

### Professional Development
- Participate in purpose discovery training sessions
- Develop mentorship skills through guided practice
- Attend team meetings and professional development workshops
- Receive regular feedback and coaching from experienced mentors
- Build portfolio of purpose development experience
- Create personal purpose development plan with mentor support

## QUALIFICATIONS
### Education & Experience
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in psychology, sports management, business, education, social work, or related field (preferred)
- Interest in purpose development, coaching, mentorship, or athletics
- Previous volunteer, work, or personal experience with athletics, entrepreneurship, mentoring, or community impact (beneficial)
- Experience with diverse populations and cultural contexts (valuable)

### Knowledge & Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of goal-setting and personal development concepts
- Research skills and ability to synthesize information
- Proficiency with basic technology tools and platforms
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

## COMMITMENT
- 10-15 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
- Minimum 3-month commitment, with opportunity for extension
