Our company specializes in online career courses and career coaching services. In particular, we aim to serve communities that are traditionally left out of career opportunities or folks who get stuck in dead-end jobs. We have helped 17,000 already, and more are on the way.

Details:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • We do not provide sponsorship or accept student visas (OPT, CPT F1, or H1B work authorization visas).
  • Remote opportunity
  • Unpaid internship
  • Time Commitment: 10 hours per week for 20 weeks (completion of 200-hour internship)
  • Success Completion: Receive LOR, LinkedIn recommendations & endorsements
  • Flexible schedule

  • Offer academic credit if needed

YOU WILL: 

  • Help us build and maintain our new website on WIX. 
  • Be familiar with a website builder like WIX, Squarespace, or WordPress. 
  • Ensure deadlines for assigned projects are met. • Have a strong ability to multitask and switch between projects. 
  • Learn and implement the best practices for our website. 
  • Be proficient in basic coding like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
  • Conduct weekly and monthly audits through quality analysis and usability testing. 
  • Collaborate with a team of talented UX Designers to determine how we can make our website truly super and troubleshoot with our Information Security Specialists on upgrades, backups, and improvements. 
  • Attend weekly team meetings and senior meetings. 

YOU ARE: 

  • Passionate about creating content and creative web design applications across all devices. 
  • Someone with an understanding of web design principles including basic database concepts. 
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, and organized. 
  • Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities and can handle multiple projects.  Able to work independently with minimum supervision and attend video conferencing meetings whenever needed. 
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication, email etiquette, the Internet, and MS Office.
  • Enthusiastic and grateful to have the opportunity to work with us! 
  • Tech savvy and own a computer with reliable access to an Internet connection.
