Employer Brand Intern

Summary
Lidl US is searching for the next Intern to join our Employer Brand team! The Employer Brand Internship offers a distinctive opportunity to delve into various facets of the employee lifecycle, emphasizing project management for Recruitment Marketing initiatives. Working closely with stakeholders, the intern will help improve digital recruitment channels, create employer branding content, and assisting with HR technology implementation.

 

*** This position reports to our Headquarters in Arlington, VA on a hybrid 3-day schedule. ***

 

What You’ll Do
Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with the team to oversee and coordinate company initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and effective execution
  • Assist in updating and optimizing the company careers website 
  • Monitor and improve job board performance metrics 
  • Create compelling employer branding materials for recruitment channels
  • Support the implementation of a recruitment chatbot and other candidate engagement tools 
  • Conduct research on recruitment marketing trends and compile recruitment metrics with insights 
  • Develop recommendations for enhancing candidate experience 
  • Document processes and findings of recruitment marketing initiatives with recommendations to enhance candidate experience
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and ensure job postings align with brand standard

 

What You’ll Need
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or in a team within an open office environment
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Must be a self-motivated individual
  • Ability to commit to a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Graphic Design skills to include: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint
  • Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience 
  • Pursuing degrees in Business, HR, Communications and/or Social Science or similar at an accredited University
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior with a 3.0 or higher grade point average

Physical Job Requirements 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
