Role Summary
Are you passionate about people and eager to learn more about the world of Human Resources? As an HR Generalist Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting a dynamic HR team. From assisting with day-to-day operations to contributing to impactful HR initiatives, you’ll gain a well-rounded introduction to the HR field. This internship is designed to provide meaningful learning experiences across various HR functions—including systems (like Workday), compliance, employee engagement, and process improvement.
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Gain experience supporting employees through key stages of the employee lifecycle
- Contribute to the development of HR goals and help shape process improvement initiatives
Workday facilitation with payroll, benefits and leave departments - Learn how to navigate Workday and collaborate with payroll, benefits, and leave teams
- Assist in generating reports and tracking compliance and performance metrics
- Participate in employee development programs and understand how learning strategies are built
- Observe and practice effective communication and coaching techniques
- See firsthand how HR contributes to larger business goals
Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Preferred Skills
- Curious about all things HR and eager to explore different areas within the field
- Bonus if you’ve had exposure to Workday—but not required!
- Excellent communicator who enjoys working with people
- Organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take initiative
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Trustworthy and professional when handling sensitive information
