Documentation Technician (Parts Catalogs)
Worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery has a job opening for a Documentation Technician to aid in writing and assembling content for machine Parts Catalogs. This job will request reviewing Bills of Materials, Production Orders, electrical schematics, and hydraulic circuits. Potential candidates must have technical writing experience, the ability to use and work with multiple computer programs and be able to work as both a team and independently.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 1-2 years’ experience as a technical writer (or equivalent)
- Proficient with Microsoft Word programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred:
- Knowledge of TeamCenter/SolidEdge, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop Elements and Microsoft Publisher.
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical).
