Ready for a paid internship that enhances your leadership skills and leaves a lasting impact at your school? The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA) is looking for motivated students to launch and lead chapters on their campuses.
For over 10 years, SCLA has empowered more than 100,000 members at over 850 colleges and universities to build meaningful careers and stronger communities. Our mission is simple: Empowering You to Build a Career That Matters. As a Chapter President, you’ll be a key part of that mission while gaining invaluable real-world leadership experience.
What You'll Do:
Phase One (First Semester): Establish Your Chapter
Officially register your SCLA chapter on campus with direct support from our national team.
SCLA handles sending membership invitations—no recruitment required from you.
Participate in your chapter's orientation event to welcome new members and introduce SCLA’s benefits.
Phase Two: Grow Your Chapter & Campus Presence
Form and develop your executive board to strengthen chapter leadership.
Build your chapter’s visibility through social media, marketing strategies, and campus engagement.
Organize additional career-focused events each semester to engage your members.
Compensation & Benefits:
Milestone-based payments with the opportunity to earn up to $1,300 during Phase One, plus additional compensation opportunities in Phase Two.
Lifetime membership in the national SCLA network.
Qualifications:
Majors: All majors encouraged—especially Business, Marketing, Leadership, Hospitality, or related fields.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and eager to grow personally and professionally.
GPA: Preferred 2.5 or higher.
