Here is how the Human Resources Intern role will impact our business:
As an Human Resources Intern, you will support the creation, enhancement, and digitization of career ladders across the organization, helping to standardize and structure role progression pathways in alignment with our talent strategies.
The Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the review, creation, and refinement of job families and career ladders across multiple functions.
- Translate existing career ladders into structured data formats suitable for integration into Salesforce.
- Support the mapping of competencies, job levels, and skills across roles using defined templates and best practices.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and other Departments to validate data and gather additional information as needed.
- Perform data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across documents and platforms.
- Contribute to process documentation and recommendations for scalable solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas that support continuous improvement.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in human resources, Business, Information Systems, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Strong technical and data management skills; proficiency in Excel required, and familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms a plus.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a desire to learn about career development, talent management, and HR systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information in a clear and structured way.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience working with structured data (e.g., CSV, Excel models)
- Interest in process design or organizational effectiveness.
- Exposure to or coursework in HR analytics, workforce planning, or systems thinking.
Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.
