Requirements: Must be available to work 10 hours between the hours of 10a-6p M-T (ET). We have a flexible remote work schedule.

Position Overview
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Design & Development Coordinator to help elevate our digital presence. This early-career role is ideal for someone with strong design instincts, foundational front-end development skills, and a passion for storytelling through user-centered web experiences.
You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and evolving our website, supporting special digital projects, and ensuring our online presence reflects the heart of our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and maintaining the organization’s website, ensuring it is accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand.
- Build and update web pages using platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS tools.
- Collaborate on creating landing pages for programs, events, and campaigns.
- Optimize website performance and accessibility across devices and browsers.
- Support integration of multimedia content (videos, graphics, forms, etc.).
- Contribute to visual design projects including digital assets, social graphics, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure website content is up to date and accurately represents our programming and impact.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in web design/development (internships, freelance, or portfolio projects welcome).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience with website builders like WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or similar platforms.
- Eye for design and layout, with familiarity in tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Passion for education, literacy, or mission-driven work.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Bonus: Experience with SEO basics, accessibility standards (WCAG), or analytics tools like Google Analytics.
