Data Science Intern

The Role: We’re looking for a Data Science Intern to join our Navy team in San Diego. Gain hands-on experience with data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling on projects that impact U.S. Navy operations. This is a paid internship, and candidates must currently reside in San Diego as relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets.
- Develop and implement machine learning models.
- Analyze data and create visualizations for actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support technical reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science or related field.
- Proficient in Python or R.
- Familiar with data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
