Corporate Development & Innovation Intern
Summary: A Corporate Development & Innovation Intern is responsible for assisting with various projects within the Corporate Strategy & Development at Stride. Essential functions may vary from administrative, clerical and support level work to more tactical work as determined by business needs. The Intern will assist the Corporate Development & Innovation team with market research, M&A and partnership pipeline management, and financial analysis as well as other duties as assigned.

- Conducts market intelligence research – industry trends, competitive landscape, market opportunities
- Identify and review innovative education and non-education related technologies
- Assists with management of deal pipeline database and reporting
- Develop and maintain templates, standard work instructions, and training materials
- Creates and prepares various content, presentations and materials as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university with a concentration in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of Stride’s business and mission
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
- Excellent written communication skills
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Collaborative and trustworthy
- Ability to listen effectively and respect others’ perspectives and contributions
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.); Web proficiency

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis a plus
- Basic knowledge of mergers and acquisition transactions
- Career interests in one of or more of the following: corporate development, investments, finance, entrepreneurship, innovation

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the hourly rate to be $22.00 per hour. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
