Evening Route & EDI Support Analyst (Entry-Level)

The Evening Route & EDI Support Analyst will be responsible for route analytics, tracking system maintenance, and supporting our EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration services during the hours of 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM ET, Sunday - Thursday. 

 

Primary Duties:

 

  • Use specialized GIS mapping software
  • Analyze historical process data using proprietary business intelligence tools
  • Predict statistical movement and ETA of railroad cars across large geographical regions
  • Construct predetermined trip plans for client shipments
  • Conduct segmental analysis transit reports
  • Learn and utilize QTS proprietary tracking software
  • Assist with the onboarding process of new clients
  • Interact with railroad customer service personnel and web software
  • Assist with testing of new software upgrades and deployments
  • Examine technology, methodology, and business opportunities and make recommendations to management
  • Manage the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) support queue and related tasks
  • Map, test, document, and maintain EDI transactions
  • Assist in defining company EDI strategies and prioritizing EDI initiatives
  • Define EDI business and technical requirements
  • Define EDI implementation procedures and policies
  • Develop and control EDI implementation schedules
  • Assess, implement, and manage relationships with Customers, Rail Roads and Third-party Vendors.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of workforce experience required
